Technical Support Specialist

Job Description:

Working remotely or based in our Burlington, Vermont office, the Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for front line interaction with our customers, satisfactorily troubleshooting and resolving incoming support issues.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Investigating, documenting and resolving customer reported issues effectively and efficiently
  • Understanding and articulating the impact of various software functionality options 
  • Developing customer-specific rules using the RCxRules software 
  • Conduct product testing 
  • Developing and presenting client education content 
  • Work with the Implementation team to effectively transition customer projects to Support 
  • Provide stellar customer experience    

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • 3-5 Years of IT Support Experience, preferably in the healthcare space 
  • Experience in writing and troubleshooting SQL statements 
  • Experience with managing healthcare interfaces using HL7

  • Experience working effectively both in a team environment as well as independently  
  • Experience with Revenue Cycle Management and/or EHR systems  
  • Knowledge of the medical claims billing process
  • Be detail oriented and have excellent analytical and problem solving skills   
  • Ability to absorb and learn new information in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent organization skills 
  • Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude  
  • Be a team player 
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and consistently to meet assigned deadlines 
  • Always maintains composure and professionalism
