Technical Implementation Specialist

Job Description:

At RCxRules, we develop and deliver AI-driven solutions which simplify healthcare revenue cycle and risk adjustment workflows through the time-saving power of automation. We are looking for a Technical Implementation Specialist to join our growing team.

Working remotely or in our Burlington, Vermont office, the Technical Implementation Specialist will be responsible for the technical configuration, interface development, and complex rule development for new customer software implementations. This person will work closely with the Implementation Project Manager to ensure the implementation is successful and completed on schedule.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with customers and vendors to map patient demographic and financial data into and out of the RCxRules application
  • Working with customers and vendors to map HL7 Interface data into and out of the RCxRules application
  • Working with customers and vendors to map the necessary data elements and master files from the customer’s revenue cycle management system
  • Developing business process rules and flows to address customer and payer specific requirements for correct billing
  • Assisting customers with automating identified business processes


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience developing or managing healthcare interfaces using APIs and HL7 with TCP/IP
  • Proficiency in writing and troubleshooting SQL statements and ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of SQL Server database structure/relationships
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • The position will require significant interaction with customers, so strong customer service skills and the ability to travel up to 30% of the time throughout the United States is required
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer company drug screen and background investigation
  • Must currently be legally authorized to work in the United States
