Technical Support Specialist

Job Description:

At RCxRules, we develop and deliver solutions which leverage rule-writing and automation capabilities to improve healthcare information quality and reduce costs. We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team.

Working remotely or based in our Burlington, Vermont office, the Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for frontline interaction with our customers and will troubleshoot and resolve incoming support issues.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Investigating, documenting, and resolving customer-reported issues effectively and efficiently
  • Understanding and articulating the impact of various software functionality options
  • Developing customer-specific rules using the RCxRules software
  • Conducting product testing
  • Developing and presenting client education content
  • Working with the Implementation team to effectively transition customer projects to Support
  • Providing stellar customer experience


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of IT support experience, preferably in the healthcare space
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in writing and troubleshooting SQL statements
  • Experience with managing healthcare interfaces using HL7
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer company drug screen and background investigation
  • Must currently be legally authorized to work in the United States
