Technical Implementation Specialist

Job Description:

The Technical Implementation Specialist is responsible for the technical configuration, interface development, and complex rule development for new customer software implementations. The Technical Specialist will work closely with the Implementation Project Manager to ensure the implementation goes smoothly and is completed on schedule.    

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with customers and vendors to map HL7 Interface data into and out of the RCxRules application
  • Working with customers and vendors to map the necessary data elements and master files from the customer’s revenue cycle management system
  • Development of business process rules and flows to address customer and payer specific requirements for correct billing 
  • Assisting customer with automating identified business processes 
  • The position will require significant interaction with customers, so strong customer service skills and the ability to travel is required. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree  
  • 3-5 years of experience developing or managing healthcare interfaces using HL7 and with TCP/IP 
  • Proficient in writing and troubleshooting SQL statements and able to demonstrate a strong understanding of SQL Server database structure/relationships 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint 
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time throughout the United States 
  • Position is based in Burlington, Vermont or remote.

  • Must have experience working effectively both in a team environment as well as independently 
  • Experience with practice management and/or EHR systems. 
  • Knowledge of the claims billing process 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects
